The source is
supported according to GetARef's help file |
- Some suppliers can deliver dump files in several formats and
GetARef typically supports only one or a few of them. Therefor, check the the dump format
is appropriate by comparing the one you've used with the one recommended in GetARef's
on-line help and if possible select an alternate dump format provided by the supplier.
- Check that the sources was correctly identified (by GetARef
or by you)
- If everything seems Ok but for the way GetARef works, please
provide a bug report, see Bugs.

Provided that the source from which you want
to download and import references is publicly available (commercially or not) DatAid AB
will develop a working import routine within a few working days. This, however, requires
your cooperation.
Submit an e-mail to DatAid
with the following information: |
- Obtain a short description of the source, for instance: what
type of information it contains; who is using it; how it is accessed; etc. Also, report
any a web address that describes the source.
- Suggest a description of the source that can be recognized
by other users, e.g., Medline from Silverplatter and BIOSIS from WebSPIRS.
- Retrieve at least 15-20 references in one or several formats
and of various types (journals, books, chapters, etc). In general, the more complicated
formats, the more examples will be needed to create a functional import routine. Make sure
that each formats used is properly identified.
- If it is not obvious, indicate what information should be
imported to a reference file.
- Attach the dump file to your e-mail.
