Information primarly for users of Version 6.0:

It is DatAid's policy to continually make improvements and correction available to GetARef's users. Accordingly, within each major version (4, 5, 6, etc), new updates have regulary been published on GetARef''s web site. Accordingly, the latest release of GetARef's main program (version 6.000.015) and import routines (version 6.001.013) are fairly close to GetARef 7.0 with respect to functionality.

Yet, the accumulated enhancements in GetARef 6.0 together with the enhancements described below warrant a new version number.

Continuity

  • Reference files and format file created with GetARef 4.0 or later can be used without modifications. Format files created in GetARef 7.0 cannot be used with earlier GetARef versions.
